Democrats are exhausted by this campaign and they are sick and tired of all the negative crap coming from Hillary's camp (like the sliming of Bill Richardson).
I've got an idea: why don't both candidates run against John McCain for the next two months? After all, if the superdelegates should base their whole decision on who will be the better general election candidate, what better way to find out than to have them both go after McCain and see who's better at it?

Your idea is a good one, especially for Obama. As the one trailing, Hillary needs to cut him down some to narrow the difference, which would be very difficult to accomplish by only attacking McCain. But it would be a difficult challenge to refuse if offered publicly.
The political equivalent of street-fighting is what the Clintons do best. Behind, they have no choice but to go to their strong suit. Their reputation is what kept the super delegates from jumping on the Obama bandwagon right after Super Tuesday.
Machiavelli, I believe, said, "It is better to be feared than to be loved."
