Archives Reveal Some of Hillary's "35 Years" of Experience

Hillary likes to tout her time in the White House as legitimate "experience" that should be counted as relevant in the presidential election campaign. Well, ABC has been poring over the release of her schedule by the National Archives and what they have found isn't too flattering:

Hillary Clinton spent the night in the White House on the day her husband had oral sex with Monica Lewinsky, and may have actually been in the White House when it happened, according to records of her schedule released today by the National Archives.

Ouch! That hurts!

As expected there are all sorts of gaps and redactions in the records:

An initial review by ABC News of the 17,481 pages of Sen. Hillary Clinton's schedule as first lady, released today by the National Archives, also finds significant gaps in time and many days containing only "private meetings" at the White House with unnamed individuals.

And of course we all remember that Hillary knew absolutely nothing about the pardons that her brother Hugh Rodham sold for $400,000 and that Bill signed on his last day:

In December 2000, when both of Hillary Clinton's brothers were involved in trying to broker pardon arrangements for associates, several days of documents show only a long list of "private meetings" at the White House.

Between Dec. 1 and 22, Clinton had a total of 25 "private meetings" before the day on which a first round of pardons was announced by her husband.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the records are incomplete around that period of time. It couldn't be that they would have shown Hillary meeting with her brother Hugh right?

Ah...the good old days. Monica Lewinsky. Semen-stained dresses. Hugh Rodham. I kind of miss the '90s don't you?

Of course we're all looking... (Below threshold)

Of course we're all looking forward to Obama releasing his schedules and records...

Obama will release his records also, right?

Hmm, this is Barack Obama - maybe not. He only "talks" about transparency.

Besides - you can't believe him once he's told you something anyway -- Just look at how many times he's changed his story on the amount of Rezko's donations he's received. It went from $50,000 to $100,000, then last week he upped it to $250,000.

It took a lot of guts for Clinton to do this, and she'll no doubt take heat for it.

Barack isn't that brave.

Hillary likely never even cooked dinner in the White House as first lady, yet she would have the voters believe that she was a major force in sensitive diplomacy and other important matters. It is exactly this type of bluster and pandering to voters telling them anything they want to hear that bothers some voters like me.

Actually, I have it on good authority that Hillary cooked dinner in the White House a number of times. But the Secret Service would never let Bill eat it . . .

It does appear she had an extraordinary number of meetings with cabinet and sub-cabinet officers for someone with no official job.

Let's remember that most of... (Below threshold)
Steve Crickmore:

Let's remember that most of these meetings were in the first two years of Bill Clinton's term when Hillary's job was to be the healthcare reform czar and she by necessity, had to have a large number of meetings with officials of the Treasury, and Clinton's economic team.

Her healthcare reform as we know, spectacularly crashed and led in part, to the Republicans winning control of both Houses, in the fall 94 Congressional elections.

Brad Delong, then Deputy Assistant of the Treasury, who was one of those officials who attended several meetings with Hillary, and is considered to have the most literate commenters of the entire political blogosphere on his site, states:

My two cents' worth--and I think it is the two cents' worth of everybody who worked for the Clinton Administration health care reform effort of 1993-1994--is that Hillary Rodham Clinton needs to be kept very far away from the White House for the rest of her life. Heading up health-care reform was the only major administrative job she has ever tried to do. And she was a complete flop at it. She had neither the grasp of policy substance, the managerial skills, nor the political smarts to do the job she was then given. And she wasn't smart enough to realize that she was in over her head and had to get out of the Health Care Czar role quickly.

After 94, she was banished to perform the more traditional First lady duties, travel, fund raise and promote her ghost written book,"It takes a Village" until the Monica affair gave her a new lease on life, and she again assumed a major role in the White House to "oversee the defense to the Lewinsky scandal and the impeachment attempt."

LOL - very funny, Jim.

24 hours after Hillary released her schedules Barack Obama has failed to reciprocate.

Lets see how long it takes... Barack has been very vocal about asking for Clinton to release it - can you imagine how stupid he'll look if he doesn't follow suit? The superdelegates will skewer him for it.
