CNN has projected Mississippi for Obama. No surprise, but the big question is how many delegates he will get from this win. If he gets a net gain of 4 or 5 that could nullify Hillary's gains in Ohio and Rhode Island earlier this month.
Update I: NBC says that Obama could net 7 to 11 delegates. To recap this month's results with their net delegate gains:
Clinton Wins
Ohio +9
Rhode Island +4
Obama Wins
Vermont +3
Wyoming +2
The Texas delegate count is currently 92-92. This means Obama's magic number is a net gain of 8 in Mississippi to even up the gains during this month. There are still 9 outstanding Texas delegates to be determined. Those may not be known until March 29, but the Obama team is claiming they will pick up 3 or 4 net delegates when they are.
Update II: A better headline would have been "Obama Routs Clinton in Texas". With 98% reporting the results are:
Obama 245,788 60%
Clinton 152,403 38%
CNN counts 17 delegates for Obama and 11 for Clinton with 5 more still to be determined. This brings Hillary down to a net of 2 delegates for the month of March.
Update III: This is certainly Obama's day. CNN is now estimating he will pick up 99 delegates from Texas compared to Hillary's 94. That's a net of 5 which now puts him up 3 (so far) for the month of March. In addition, he has been consistently racking up the superdelegate endorsements at a faster rate than Hillary. Contrary to the mythical "momentum" that the media keeps talking about Hillary's campaign is going in reverse.

The press after ironically promoting Clintons 'big victory in the delgate rich state of Texas' will write off Obama's Mississippi victory because blacks make up the majority of Democrats in Mississippi, and will call the state an anomaly.
Obama's national poll numbers are back ahead of Hillary, so I guess she will return to negative campaigning to try and pull down Obama to her level. The question remains how the superdelegates who have been steadily drifting to Obama the last month will feel about that?

The Limbaugh effect is increasing, it would seem.
Superdelegate news, too.
