Larkin,
Ann C comes off as one of those people I have serious doubts as to whether they believe half the nonsense they say. It's an act or shtick Ann and others(including one major conservative blogger who propelled me to blog myself)use to sell books or themselves. Which I think is sadder than if they believed what they are saying. I just can't say something I don't believe in. That's just not me.

Here's another TV ad which attempts to paint McCain "as liberal as Hillary" - link
And I don't believe for a second that Coulter would actually vote for a Democrat, but the unhinged, fringe angry right is going to great lengths to dis McCain.

Bill,
I would agree with that. I think Ann Coulter's primary objective is to generate publicity for herself which translates into books sales.
I thought the piece was pretty humorous though. It's interesting to see the angst over McCain on the right side of the political spectrum. Good entertainment for those of us on the left.

Since we may be stuck with Hilary or McCain for dictator, I want to get my two cents in for the real issues. Energy Independence Now! No more Oil Wars! We need to stop paying our adversaries with oil money. It is unseemly for an American President to beg a Saudi despot for cheaper oil.
Oh and about that other thing? If you said her name, congratulations, she accomplished her purpose.
