"I bet Labor Secretary Chao makes it to the end of Bush's term, January 20th, 2009."-ja
I'd say you're correct. After all, looking at the big picture, she's managements' agent running the old labor relations board, so she's a symbol to the adepts. Thus she presents Bush hagiographers with some kind of proof of cogency within the Bush2 administration.
And of course, she's married to fellow DC creature, Sen. Mitch McConnell, who pilots her career toward the best results-free government subsidized employment opportunities. Disbursing abortion clinic funds at the United Way was where I first heard of her. Her subsequent appearance as a "conservative" light at the Heritage Foundation would have been funnier if wasn't so sad.

somebody should stop the abuse of animals in the slaughter house. this is cruel and inhumane. i cannot believe that the people abusing these animanls are human beings. This should be stoped imediately and the ones responsible should be punished and never again given a job, they should roten in jail for ever. Shame, shame, shame!! Stop the abuse of animals.Ed Schafer should look into this and think twice about letting such a horrific thing going unpunished and this should be taken care everywhere. We not supposed to wait until something like that comes out. We should have inspections and encourage people to speek freely about such things and not to be scared of being fired. We should award the ones who point the finger to such criminal acts. Stop the cruelty to animals!
