I am surprised that anyone still looks at Rasmussen (at least for the state primaries). How far off th MOE has he been, in every matchup this election season? He does not have a clue what he is polling.

As I understand it, you must stop conducting polls 36 hours before the official primary polls open (or at least that was the explanation in NH.) That leaves alot of room for independent voters, and undecided voters, last minute swing changes etc. Rasmussen was spot on in Iowa and Nevada, understimated Hillary in New Hampshire, and underestimated Obama in South Carolina.

I haven't looked at Connecticut, and it may well go to Obama, but you certainly can't base that call on a Rasmussen poll - from my experience that are highly unreliable, and among the worst of the polls out there.
