it is a relief to see the voters of LA get it right, in their chance for a redo! how they wish they had a time machine

This along with Shrillary's rampart criminal activity and Obama proving to the world that he in no christian or American (no flag pin and ingnoring the pledge), but an Islamist as suspected should shoot the lock off the 08 elections. Hey, the dhimmi's still have the most crooked lawyer in the country running.

The more or less permanent exodus of so many New Orleans residents, predominately black, seems to have changed the political dynamics of Louisiana politics. Where the old Democratic machine of New Orleans could often deliver large enough majorities to offset Republican margins in the smaller cities and rural areas, those who moved to Houston or Atlanta and never returned were part of that Democratic vote.

Don't forget the Kentucky governor's race in a couple of weeks. We'll get back the seat we lost in Louisiana.

Congrats to Bobby. Now we need someone to run against Mary Landrieu and win that Dem Senate seat. That would make La. a real Red State.

Democrats have a lot of shocks coming. Now if Jindal will only demand a days work for a days pay, or out the door, he has a chance to change the historically democrat criminal state, at least a little.

I'm amused that the Dumbocrats appealed to Protestant bigotry against the Catholic Jindal.
It is a party lost from its moorings. Cap'n Kos pursues the Great White Whale, Mobush.

I voted for Jidal because he will make a competent governor and help bring LA into the 21st century. I also wanted to vote the bums out. In Louisiana, that means the Democrats. For that same reason I will NOT be voting for a Republican in the national election. They showed that they were incompetent at governing, so we need a change. Hide from it all you want, but this is the truth of why the republicans will lose nationally. If you lost me as a voter, a die hard Republican voter, you have lost a huge section of America. Will the party change or sink into oblivion? They will have a good long time out of power to decide.
