Rudy raises campaign $$ in London

Rudy Giuliani is in London, soliciting campaign donations from Americans there and meeting with the current and two former Prime Ministers, David Saltonstall and Ellen Tumposky report for the NY Daily News:

Rudy Giuliani is headed to London today to pick up some cash - and some cachet - by meeting with three of the United Kingdom's last four prime ministers, including current leader Gordon Brown, the Daily News has learned.

In a diplomatic trifecta that could help to polish Giuliani's thin foreign affairs résumé, the former mayor is due to start today with a private sit down with former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Then it'll be on to 10 Downing Street, the prime minister's official residence, where Giuliani will huddle with Brown.

And by evening, Giuliani will be giving a speech on U.S.-British relations to a crowd including former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, aka "The Iron Lady," an icon to conservatives in both countries.

Read the whole story at the above link. There are many American executives based in London, partly due to our insane tax laws which penalize corporations based in the United States. A clip of Giuliani in front of #10 Downing Street:

Ghouliani visiting the gold... (Below threshold)
bryanD:

Ghouliani visiting the gold exchange. Bowing at the Golden Calf. When America was IT it would have been David Rockefeller whose ring he'd kiss.

This man is the only Republican that will force me to vote for the Democratic candidate (instead of leaving That Field blank, a'la '92, '96, '00, '04). And I really hate the DNC. AND Hillary!

But the Undead are NOT our friends.
