The Pajamas Media online poll for 2008 is entering its second week. This is NOT a scientific poll, of course, since the sample is self-selecting and you may vote for one candidate in each party. It may, however, give some sense as to the current attitudes of whatever subset of net-savvy people participate. In the first week, it was close but Romney and Obama eked out narrow victories:
First week results:
DemocratsBarack Obama 23.9%, Bill Richardson 21.8%, Dennis Kucinich 10.7%, Hillary Clinton 10.4%, John Edwards 9.2% . . .
Republicans
Mitt Romney 26.2%, Rudy Giuliani 25.8%, Newt Gingrich 24.6% . . .
Those are the top finishers in each party for last week. The full results are HERE. To participate, go to Pajamas Media and click the "VOTE" section in the middle of the top of the page.
So far this week, Bill Richardson has a slight lead over Obama for the Democrats, while Romney is enjoying a healthier lead over Guiliani on the GOP side. Interestingly, the supposed front-runners, Clinton and McCain, trail as badly as they did in the first week.
Naturally, the results reflect the biases of people who participate in PM polls. NOT scientific, as mentioned above, so have fun!

Dennis Kucinich 10.7%: Someone is playing games with the poll. There is now way more than three people (him, his mother and his father) would want to see this idiot as president of the local moonbat convention.
The people of Ohio should be ashamed of pushing this joke on America year after year. Someone has a sense of humor.

Scrappy, you must not have heard: the Democrats won the midterms. Insanity is "in" again. Get ready for a Kucinich "surge" as he "speaks truth to power" and continues his crusade against space-based mind control rays.
Of course, it could be conservatives dreaming . . .
:-)

I'm not from the Cleveland area, and couldn't begin to explain how that idiot gets elected, but don't blame Ohio for his attempts at the White House.
In 2004, he got more money from Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA than from the whole buckeye state. Or so says Open Secrets.
