The field has a way to go to equal the famous "seven dwarfs" of the 1988 campaign.
It's always a good mental exercise to try to name them all from memory: Dukakis, of course, Gore, Gephardt, Paul Simon, Joe Biden, Bruce Babbitt, and Jesse Jackson.
The most common errors in naming the seven are including Gary Hart, who dropped out early after the Donna Rice "Monkey Business," and "Run Pat Run" Schroeder, who never actually entered the race.
The Democrats will have to work hard to field a bigger slate of completely unqualified idiots than those. They are making a pretty good start, though . . .
