According to the papers in the U.K. Peloshi isn't out to destroy herself, the republicans are out to destroy her. The republicans are laughing at her, dim fighting within is and will destroy her.
Actually Peeeloshi had better keep an eye on the Ark. hillbilly 'die of unknown causes' machine. If she gets her name on the news more than Hellary the war will be on and history proves who will lose that war.
Just more laughs as a result of the election. A fun two years it will be.
I see that Peeeloshi's 100 hour plan has grown to maybe 10 years. Every proposal is now an increase in taxes, elemination of tax breaks, or increases in fuel/electric cost. All come out of the working people's (not her super rich friends)pocket. Who would have thought it would come to this. LMAO

Jim: Thank you for providing this link. Your efforts to help us understand the full implications of Alcee Hastings' pending appointment to the Intelligence Committee is most important.
Byron York's article in NRO offers an extensive review of the incidents surrounding Alcee Hastings' impeachment while a federal judge. Many have used this as an argument against Hastings' fitness to serve as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
Rick Moran recommends that we also review Hastings' record in Congress since 1992 to help determine his fitness for the proposed position. He's written his findings here:
http://rightwingnuthouse.com/archives/2006/11/18/dems-better-not-be-hasty-about-hastings/#comments
Moran discusses Hastings' voting record on security issues in detail. He concludes: "And that record reveals a man who believes that the United States is the root of most of the problems in the world today. It reveals an admirer of Fidel Castro. It reveals a man with enormously troubling positions on issues vital to the security of the United States."
Here is the voting record Moran presents:
1. Voted NO on deterring foreign arms transfers to China. (Jul 2005)
2. Voted NO on reforming the UN by restricting US funding. (Jun 2005)
3. Voted NO on keeping Cuba travel ban until political prisoners released. (Jul 2001)
4. Voted NO on withholding $244M in UN Back Payments until US seat restored. (May 2001)
5. Voted NO on making the PATRIOT Act permanent. (Dec 2005)
6. Voted NO on scheduling permitting for new oil refineries. (Jun 2006)
7. Voted YES on prohibiting oil drilling & development in ANWR.
8. Voted NO on federalizing rules for driver licenses to hinder terrorists. (Feb 2005)
9. Voted NO on continuing military recruitment on college campuses. (Feb 2005)
10. Voted NO on adopting the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission. (Oct 2004)
Moran explains what each vote means, so please do read his original post.

PhoenixPat ~ Thanks, that post does shine a bit more light onto "The Honorable" Alcee Hastings . . . I'll update the stem post, since some readers don't check the comments (which seems to me to be the informational equivalent of refusing to look anywhere but straight ahead while driving, but that's another rant).
;-)
