Hillary "undecided" on Presidential run

Yep, and if you believe that, I've got this lovely little bridge into Brooklyn I just know you will be interested in. You could put up a tollbooth and make a fortune!

Beth Fouhy of the Associated Press relays the official story:

Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's professed indecision about a presidential bid seems a bit disingenuous. After all, she has millions in the bank, a national network of supporters and an unrivaled team of political strategists. Not to be trumped by other potential candidates/authors, the former first lady plans to rerelease her best-selling book, "It Takes a Village."

Fresh off her landslide Senate re-election victory, the New York lawmaker has been inundated with questions about her political future. Although polls show her the front-runner for her party's 2008 presidential nomination, Clinton insists she's just starting the process of making a final decision.

"I will look at the possibilities, but I ... haven't really had the time to talk to people about it," Clinton said in New York earlier this week -- the latest non-answer to the question that's dogged her incessantly since the midterm elections.

Here's a clue for those new to American politics: when someone won't confirm or deny they are running for an office, they are running. If they weren't, they would have no hesitation in denying the rumor.

She has at least $13 million in the bank already, can raise more faster than any other Democrat except one (to whom she happens to be married), and has a built-in network of consultants and operatives across the country. If she doesn't run in 2008 and another Democrat is elected, she might have to wait until 2016 for her next chance.

She's running.

Also ironic that she won he... (Below threshold)

Also ironic that she won her race with 66.6% of the vote.

Just another reason I call her "The Bride of Satan".

However, I also have been saying for the last three years that it is far from a sure thing that she will even get the Dem nomination. The Dems are not known for an orderly primary season, as they are superb at shooting their own wounded. Even with all of the money, power and intimidation of the Clinton Satanic Mafia at her disposal, she very well may have an uphill struggle.
