I don't know which will be more satisfying, the Dems going down or the MSM going down. Actually, they are the same. Anyway, bringing down the MSM is certainly magnifying the satisfaction!!!

I just read that the Senator Allen stalker (Stark) paid by Webb got busted, cuffed, and stuffed again today. Wondered what happened to him. That makes me sad, he didn't make it to far Southwest Va. We had an ambulance on standby, a coat with many straps, an appointment at the ER, and paperwork ready to give him a vacation in Southwestern state mental hospital. A few days of shock treatment would fix him right up. That is after his broken arms and legs healed up. Stark had a surprise party waiting for him, and he missed it. What a jerk and he's going to be a lawyer. Why do I disrespect the justice system of today. ROFL

Sorry if a bit OT,

This is awesome news if true. Remember in 2002 when "The Genric" tightened to within a few points just days before the election. This may mean the Blue Wave is just a fart in the ocean.

You may still get your chance, Scrappy. Stark was released without charge later.
Somebody needs to lock up that deranged leftist maniac before he hurts someone.

The early signs, as well as the late trends on the ground, are encouraging. We will lose seats in the House, but probably not the majority. Maybe one or two net loss in the Senate, again, keeping control.
Which of course will be a HUGE victory for the GOP, since the historical trend and the near-universal predictions of the pundits this year favor a heavy loss in both houses of Congress.
Naturally, the fMSM, the Democrats, and the moonbat morons on the web will claim it's a "win" because they will have picked up seats.
Let 'em.

Another early, early indicator hardly ever mentioned was the lower Democratic turnout in the primaries which is indicative of their voter enthusiasm. I agree Jim, I think we barely hold the house and no more than 3 Senate net losses (2 if Steele can pull it out).

A new Washington Post/ABC just came out. The generic difference between the two parties in terms of voter preference: 51 -45, a six point lead by demos. Quite a variance from the Newsweek poll. Sorta shows the worth of these polls. By the way, it also shows Bush's favorable rating at 43.
If Strata is right, the very vision of Democratic headquarters on election night makes me giddy. Talk about a circular firing squad. Who would be first? Howard Dean. The smug senior senator from New York. Reid? Pelosi. All of the above? Wasn't it Dingle who said he would not serve again if the Dems didn't take control? Massive, manic depression.
And just who could they find to pay off the loans after another spectacular failure. They would probably need federal housing assistance.

I just posted a report on that WaPo poll from Jim Geraghty - "The Kerry Spot" guy from '04. He noted their final generic poll in 1994 showed a 6 point Democratic lead - and we won 54 seats in the House and 7 or 8 in the Senate.
Yeah, DNC HQ - and the fMSM anchor booths - could be absolutely frantic. Some lefty columnist in the Boston Globe had a column yesterday saying if the Democrats don't win big, the election is fixed.
It's hard to find better entertainment than a flock of moonbats in full righteously-indignant-and-ready-to-burst mode over something. Could be a night for popcorn, pizza, and beer . . .
