Robinson has an uphill batt... (Below threshold)1. Posted by Jim Addison | August 18, 2006 11:14 PM | Score: 0 (0 votes cast)
Robinson has an uphill battle in NC's 13th CD. The district, which runs from the Raleigh area north to the Virginia border, is considered a "Safe Democratic" seat. Kerry carried it in 2004 with 53% of the vote.
That said, Republican Robinson's ads are stirring things up. They are controversial and funny. This one is a hoot! Be sure to give it a listen - and DO NOT sip a beverage just before clicking . . .

Odd.
I seem to recall the Confederate States just wanted to leave quietly, and were provoked by Lincoln's violation of his promise not to reinforce the garrison at Fort Sumpter - which was the condition under which South Carolina agreed to allow the USA to keep the base.
Of course, if Lincoln had run and hid from the CSA "terrorists" the way modern Democrats do against Islamic fascists, the nation would never have been reunified, would it?
:-p

Drew doesn't seem to have a problem with Stalinist fools like Harry Belafonte, so we know where HE'S coming from. ;-)
Great ad, by the way. Keep telling the truth on 'em, Mr. Robinson, they'll just think it's hell.
