Hey, watch it! Ted doesn't drink any more!
Of course, he doesn't drink any LESS, either . . . no, no, seriously, Teddy doesn't drink nearly as much as he used to.
He shakes so badly now, he spills most of it.
Justices who disappoint the Senator from Chivas can only win approval by more sober judges.

Why do voters continue to elect Kennedy when he seems to be "mislead" so much? OR Kerry? Or Jane Harmon? However, since Joe is not claiming to be mislead and has not "created an account" with the Daily Kos - - he seems to be one democrat in trouble.

This is the usual sour grapes from big fat (hic) Ted and his ilk. Just like crying that the GOP stole the election in 2000 and then again in 2004.

I know! What a drunken loser! Who would ever believe the testimony of a supreme court candidate---everyone knows you cannot come out in opposition to things that Americans support (like the environment, civil rights, abortion rights) because then you might not be confirmed!
What an idiot. Looks like no one learned from Clarence "i never really thought about it" Thomas.

Very impressed indeed.

Every right wing candidate for the court tries to come across as some liberal moderate with a sensible approach to jurisprudence, but they soon fall in line with Scalia on vote after vote.

Stevens is 85. Ginsberg is 73 and has had Cancer. Their natural life span shows they will most likely die before the 50 + year olds (Alito and Roberts), or the 65 year old Thomas.
That means 2 more EXTREME, EXTREME, EXTREME left-wingers will die fairly soon. Yes, Lord! Faster, PLEASE.

It says a lot, I think, that the extreme right wingers on the court, with the exception of Scalia, all talked to the American people and congress as if they were sensible, intellectual moderates. Either they did a good job acting or they are not part of the right wing fundamentalist plot. I for one hope they are bad actors, good jurists, and share the vision of modern Americans and not 19th century rich white males.
