Who is going to tell the tale of gas prices, I wonder. Both parties want to paint it as if prices will fall under them, but with the GOP beholden to big oil and the Democrats pushing higher prices to wean the public off oil, honesty will be moot.
I am hoping one of these parties will be clear about what they want and how they want to get it, whether it be paying for war or imports to keep our current lifestyle or paying big bucks to transition to alternate fuels. Both parties will try to advetise cheaper fuel while working, in some respects, against that. The marketing should be intriguing.
