I would wonder -- since I don't live in Florida anymore, I don't know -- how long before the negative ads start making Crist vs Christ jokes about how the Republicans want everyone to be religious or somesuch.
Florida, in my opinion, is actually a rather nice microcosm of the country. There are a very few liberal areas which are heavily-populated, and a lot of conservative areas spread across the state with a lighter population density. And, just like America, for eight years a Republican has been in charge and the world hasn't ended.
