Republicans Running On The War

Following the lead of President Bush, some Republicans who were reluctant to make the issue of the war part of their campaigns are now openly running with the message comparing the Republican approach to a cut-and-run strategy favored by many Democrats.

And lets not forget, favore... (Below threshold)

And lets not forget, favored by many Republicans.

Cut and Run? You bet. by Reagan appointed NSA Director, Lt General William Odom.

Edward Luttwak is in favor of quick withdrawal.

Lots of Republicans are in favor of getting out now, but this blog can't seem to bring itself to mention them.

I've seen other blogs with commenters who insult people like General Brent Scowcroft, who was writing against the war before it started, by calling him a fake Republican. President GHW Bush's Nat'l Security Advisor, with whom he wrote a book, is a fake Republican.

It gets pretty bad out there.
