2006 Hawaii Senate Race

While there is little or no chance that a Republican will occupy this Senate seat in 2007, there is a very good chance that a much more conservative Democrat will be holding it.

The Exposer:

I have to chuckle at the description of the liberal Ed Case as being "a much more conservative Democrat." Case scored a 12% from the ACU, same as leftist moonbat Neil Abercrombie and only 4% more Conservative than Akaka.

Why would the GOP want to HELP this younger leftist into a Senate seat when reelecting Akaka means he may die in office (along with Inouye) and give a Republican like Lt. Gov. Duke Aiona or Quentin Kawananakoa a leg up by being appointed by Gov. Lingle?

Sorry, but this just doesn't wash.
